Speaker and Facilitator
Stephen B. Page is an Associate Professor at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the
University of Washington and Faculty Director of the Executive MPA Program. He joined the Evans School faculty in 1999. His research studies changes in policies, administration, and service delivery arrangements within and across the public and non-governmental sectors over time, with specific attention to dilemmas of collaboration, accountability, and performance.
Discussion Topics:
• There has been a reset in human services, and our funding and operational environment is very different from what it was 20 years ago. Our organizations have had to implement change.
• How do we meet the challenges that (we feel) force us to change, and the opportunities that present themselves with these changes?
• How do we create a culture of change, so that our staff can adjust to changes that have occurred and changes to come? How do we implement sustainable changes?
After the training session, join your colleagues for the social hour. Light refreshments will also be provided.
